What is BIB Verified™?
BIB Verified™ is a future accreditation initiative being developed by The Black in Business to help spotlight Black-owned businesses that demonstrate professionalism, engagement, visibility, and commitment to growth.
Three distinct steps
Listing review: The BIB reviews listings before publication. Approval makes a listing visible; it does not mean the business is verified or accredited.
Current listing verification: A "Listing verified" badge means an admin has reviewed a business license or other business information. Free, Premium, and Featured listings may receive it after separate review. Membership alone does not grant it.
Future BIB Verified™ accreditation: This program is still being developed. No current listing badge represents accreditation, and no tier currently includes active accreditation. Future eligibility and review requirements will be announced before launch.
