Black businesses generate over $200B in annual revenue in the U.S., yet still face the steepest hurdles to discovery, capital, and customers. The BIB is a small, intentional answer to a stubborn problem: make the businesses easier to find, and the people behind them impossible to ignore.
What we do
We review listings before publication and help shoppers discover Black-owned businesses. Listing verification is a separate admin review, shown with a gold badge. It is not the future BIB Verified™ accreditation or a guarantee of quality. Our daily spotlight gives published businesses a turn in the homepage.
