Using The BIB
The Black in Business helps visitors discover businesses and provides business owners with listing tools. Use the service lawfully and respectfully. Do not attempt unauthorized access, impersonate others, submit harmful content, or interfere with the service.
Accounts and listing submissions
Keep your account credentials secure. Submit accurate business information and keep contact details current. You must have permission to use the images, text, and other material you submit. By submitting listing content, you permit The BIB to display it and use it to operate and promote your listing.
Review and verification
Publication follows listing review. Current listing verification is a separate admin review, not the future BIB Verified™ Accreditation Program. Approval or a verification badge is not an endorsement, guarantee, warranty, or legal certification of a business, product, service, or outcome.
Availability and membership
Free listings are available now. Public enrollment in Premium and Featured is closed; waitlist signup is not a purchase or a promise of access. Future features, prices, and eligibility may change before launch. The future accreditation program remains in development.
Business interactions
Businesses are responsible for their own products, services, pricing, and customer interactions. Confirm information directly before making decisions. Links to external websites do not mean The BIB controls or guarantees those services.
Moderation and service changes
The BIB may review, correct, decline, or unpublish listings and restrict accounts that misuse the service. Features may change or be unavailable. Owners can request help with their listing by contacting our team.
